Having said that, I have enjoyed it. Here are some of the things I have found interesting so far:
- Being able to run an ECG and a pulse ox with a wristwatch is pretty amazing to me.
- Also, I didn't think I would use it for sleep monitoring. My sleep patterns are for shit, so I thought I'd give it a try, and I found the information interesting.
- One thing that surprised me is how much I pay attention to the rings. The UI is well designed to be sort of addictive -- encouraging exercise, movement, etc. to 'close the rings'.
- Of course, messaging, calendar, weather forecast, etc is useful.
- Recording information about walking: Time, calories burned, average heart rate, 22 minutes and 32 second pace, miles walked.
This recording happened pretty much automatically. Early in the walk, I felt a buzz but ignored it. When I was on the way back, I felt the same strong-ish buzz. So I looked, and it was prompting me to record the walk.
"It appears that you are doing an exercise." And the button is "Record outside walk" --
