Experimental Cocktail Night!

Fun time last night!

A friend hosted an 'experimental' cocktail gathering. We chose a liquor (in this case Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur), which we had never had before, and used it as the basis to make several mixed drinks.

Homemade pizza for dinner, and it was just a very nice, pleasant night to reconnect with friends and to keep out the doldrums of February!

Dreaming of a Vacation

Thinking about going to Utah for vacation this year, where I would get to wear my beloved Tilley hat!


That mirror in the little bathroom serves for a lot of selfies...too bad the toilet paper roll always shows up in the pics!

This pic was taken after the end of the 'lower carb' diet -- I lost 12 lbs! But boy am I glad to be eating more normally again!
