I've been planning maybe 2 day drive to go see a site that has been on my bucket list for a while. In the meantime, I've been concentrating on social activities, working around the house, and this week I'm doing this very boring 3 day training class via Webex. So boring! But it gives me 24 continuing education credits towards 1 of my certifications, and it was FREE, so I grabbed it!
I also was pleasantly surprised to find some several Eastern Black Swallowtail caterpillars, and a chrysalis on the Fennel out back!
Here's the chrysalis -- I will keep watch on it, and if I'm lucky I'll get some pics during the emergence --
The Fennel is stripped of all its leaves today -- and all the caterpillars are gone, presumably to other plants to eat!
