Typical Halloween
1 Nov 2019 15:32I did my usual for Halloween -- had a friend over for wine, while we waited for the (ZERO this year) trick-or-treaters! The holiday is really just an excuse for me to drink wine, eat candy and dress up in my horns and robe :)

The 'girls' were outside, heads blinking -- I left them on all night to get some use of the batteries. We had a pretty significant storm around 11PM with heavy winds, but they all stayed in place!

In other activities, I am coming back to some parts of my house that need repair. The house is 96 years old, and some of the closets have never been renovated -- think dirty, dingy, cracked disgusting plaster...
They've been on my 'list' for years, so I'm working on one now. I'll post pictures once completed.

Earlier this week, I had friends over for dessert to "taste test" something I was thinking of making for book club, since I'm hosting in a couple weeks. But I decided I didn't like it, and will make something different.
