Last night (day 12 after), I drove the car for the first time. It was not completely comfortable, both because of the angle you sit in a car, and also the potholes! But it was a successful 15 minute round trip!
And the pain around the incision is subsiding. I still have soreness when I stand up from a chair, but it is definitely getting better.
I'm still doing the daily walk around the block (and of course walking up and down lots of stairs at home), but this weekend I'm planning to get a somewhat longer walk in.
