A Year!

It's crazy to think it's been almost a year since Virginia's stay at home order went into effect! The thing I remember, and it's actually a pleasant memory, is how nice it was to sit on my front porch without traffic noise from the street! The street I live on is pretty busy, and it was very peaceful and quiet without the traffic -- nary a car!

At the time, I also noticed the birds that lived in the hedge did not have to sing so loudly. I sadly decided to have that hedge cut low a couple months ago because after so many years of neglect, the hedge had gotten completely out of hand! So I will miss the very loud birdsong that happened every morning around 4:30 or 5AM!

When the stay at home was lifted, I immediately noticed the increase in traffic sound.
