Blue or Green?

For the 1st time in 22 Christmas trees, I changed the color of the lights. I had always had blue and white lights, and while you can't tell exactly from this picture, this year the lights are purple and blue.

The weird thing is that the blue incandescent lights turn 'green' when surrounded by the purple LEDs, so there's a weird effect that causes the tree to appear "green" and purple. Not everyone sees green, but most do. It's sort of like that blue/gold dress internet thing from a few years ago!


And I went to the Krampus Walk the other night. Glad I went - it was a good excuse to get out of the house, and to get some exercise. I purposely parked about 4 blocks from where I needed to, just to force some extra walking.
