I was generally pleased with this shot of a fly on a Zinnia --
Small Fly on Zinnia

I had a hard time getting the shot -- I was using a heavy zoom lens, so it was difficult to hold in position, and the fly was just very small! The Zinnias seem to attract small insects -- including small butterflies, but I hardly see a larger butterfly on them. The Phlox seem to be what the larger butterflies go after.

I also have been seeing multiple Hummingbird Moths lately -- the Crepe Myrtles and Phlox both seem to be the draw!
Lots of Hummingbird Moths in the garden lately
