Had dinner w/ friends last night to celebrate one of their birthdays. Nice, pleasant evening!
While we were talking, a thought occurred that I've noticed before. The pandemic has messed with my time perception. Things that seemed to have happened just last year, were actually YEARS AGO! A typical example: my dishwasher needed to be repaired this week, and I thought "I just bought it last year". Ummm....I looked it up, and I bought it in the Fall of 2019 before COVID arrived. Crazy!
Cut a couple of roses from the garden. I used to grow lots of roses, but they take a lot of attention, and I wanted to grow other things, so I left them on their own. I still get a few roses every year though. These are Rosa 'tamora' --
