Ha! Tattoo?!

I have been thinking about getting a tattoo on my calf. And this would be my first. So...I thought I am not sure, so I bought some temporary tattoos -- I figured I would try them and see what I thought.

1) I had to shave that part of my leg.
2) It was harder to get it positioned than I thought -- it was a hard angle.
3) I got the tatt upside down -- the fish looks odd pointing up lol!

But I'm already getting used to it. Maybe I SHOULD get a tatt!


And here is a view of the tatt on the outside porch camera as a friend left. I think I could get used to having one on my leg!

Interesting idea to try out a temporary first, I hadn't heard of doing that.

I just wasn't sure if I wanted one or not. And I'm still not sure I will get one -- the pain of it all, and the permanence give me pause. But the temporary tattoo came in a pack of 6 different ones (all koi fish), so I can test it out again if I am still undecided.

Oh, that idea also never occured to me. I got my first tattoo as soon as I reached legal age and now I have my arms almost full. It can be kind of addictive (if I had the money I'd have more!). But it's good to think about it well and find a good studio. I didn't do my research well and ended up getting a cover-up on my first one :P

That's cool...and thanks for the warning about finding a good studio! I follow an irezumi tattoo subreddit...I don't want anything quite so extensive as a full back or sleeve. but I do like the style.

Awesome, I love that style too! I hope you find a good motive in your desired style and a cool studio, if you decide to go through with it :D
