It's Pesto Day!

I made pesto today -- something I typically do most years. I really love basil, and I grow a lot of it, so pesto is a good way to use it!

I'll cover what's in the pan and freeze. Once frozen, I'll separate out into smaller baggies for using later. The jar will be what I use in the short term.


I also clipped some tarragon today to dry --

Pesto looks so yummy! I should make some too, it has been a while since i ate pasta with anything but lemon
and olive oil.

Yea, I love pesto too! And basil in general -- I put it on eggs, pasta, whatever I think it'll taste good with!

Pesto's excellent stuff. One of my go-to's for what to do with pasta.

Yep, we used some of it last night on pasta for dinner! Also good for dropping a frozen puck into soup in the winter.
