Alien Dream

I found myself in a room with no windows, and which had an underground feel to it. The walls were bluish and metallic, reminiscent of the original Star Trek series.
Several individuals were in the room. However, many of the individuals had been inhabited by aliens! Or perhaps possessed is a better word. And there was a group of us gathered in one corner of the room who had not been possessed by the alien intelligences.
The alien-people were all smiles, but they kept selecting various butcher knives from a table and threatening to cut us. As a matter of fact, they seemed to joyfully look forward to cutting us in slow, painful strokes. But not just yet, as they were awaiting instructions which would allow them to begin.
In the meantime, one or another of them would pick up a knife, come over, and wave the knife closely at one or the other of us around our faces, eyes, necks, torsos. And each time, the alien-people would have broad, anticipatory grins on their faces. Almost driveling in intense desire.

This was a dream from last night that woke me up uncomfortably.
While waking, I remember my first impression was that I found it disturbing that when alien-people would approach us, I was always relieved and glad that it was some other person they were waving the knifes at and not me. It was almost as if I were wishing the alien-person would pick someone else to cut instead of me. I found it disturbing, if natural, that I would feel that way.
