karmicdragonflySo we are nearing the end of the first part of Beowulf, about to finish "scene 1" so to speak. Each part tells a story:
This is my (not at all ready for prime time) translation. I use a spreadsheet because it's the only way I can keep the poetic wording and various verb forms and Mercian (Anglian?) spellings straight!
(Still struggling on best way to present this. Copying and pasting table didn't work well, nor did copying and pasting text. So image captures it is!)
