Nerd Rising

The nerdy side of me has just come all the way out during my time at home. For example, I have been reviewing Latin lessons online to see how much I remember from middle school! I mean, I have always enjoyed languages, but it even surprises me that I'm doing this!


Yesterday, I oiled the bike chain, put air in the tires, lubed the pedals, etc. It begs the question of exactly why I did that. Will I actually ride the bike soon?

Dandelion Flower Tea

Why yes, yes I do have some extra time on my hands during the quarantine!

Today I collected flowers and made some dandelion flower tea, and it wasn't bad with some honey in it. I'm always really careful when I try herbal stuff -- trying a little at a time to make sure I don't have an allergy to it.

I was not sure if I really needed to just use the flower pedals, or if I could have put the whole flower into the jar. To be on the safe side, I pulled out the pedals.
