I tend to enjoy remembering my dreams, even if I get no "hidden" meanings from them or anything. My sleep was fitful last night, which is often a good time to remember your dreams.

Dream 1

There was a teenage boy and a smaller boy (possibly) standing facing each other in a square at night, with drenching rain beating down on them, and lightning in the sky. They were looking into each other's eyes.

The taller teenage boy was thin, fair-skinned, with a thick black shock of hair, and wearing a red felt hat and a pullover shirt with wide, colorful, horizontal stripes. He looked sort of like Waldo in the 'Where is Waldo' puzzle cartoons, except the colors were bit different, and the hat was felt and not a knitted stocking cap like Waldo.

I never saw the face or body build of the smaller figure, but the dream presumed he was a boy. He was just a crouched, small figure in front the taller boy. The smaller figure was dressed in the same colorful horizontal stripes.

There was no other information -- no reason for standing in the storm, no action. Just a storm and 2 lonely figures.

Dream 2

I had gone to bed thinking of the latest Confederate monuments that have been torn down. We have one of those monuments in my neighborhood, and the neighborhood has been informally discussing sending the monument (and the body buried underneath!) back to Hollywood Cemetery which was its previous resting place.

The dream was about a large group of us outdoors in a medieval but now modern town, with a distant hill overlooking. On the hill were buildings made of red brick and at least one that seemed made of concrete. Some of the buildings were tall, some shorter. I was looking up at the hill, standing beside my car, and realized that the tall buildings were suddenly toppling over and into the shorter buildings, and I exclaimed 'Oh shit!' lol. I tried to get the video on my phone going, but for some reason was not successful.

Other people began screaming and running. There had been no earthquake, and there was no danger of buildings falling on us since the hill was a bit distant. The demolition stopped as quickly as it had started. At the end, the view exposed was of a building further inward on the top of the hill, also made of red brick and shaped round like a medieval church's baptistry.

In retrospect, it's almost like the more modern, taller buildings fell down to expose a view of the older, medieval buildings. Again, that's the end of the story, but at least this one had at least some action with the building demolition and some running, lol
