Had dinner at a Korean place downtown w/ a friend who was in the same English as a Second Language class that I was in a few years ago. He had been teaching in Korea for a few years, fell in love w/ a Canadian girl, ended up back in the states, and is now gearing up to move to Canada -- as soon as he gets his visa straight!

I'm happy for him -- he seems to be living his life, and it's great that he and the girl will be able to unite w/out having to travel back and forth so much!

I liked the food at the restaurant -- I would definitely go back for another visit. The restaurant bills itself as 'Seoul Street Food', and nice that they had decent vegetarian options!

When I re-stained the deck last summer, I had taken down my tattered prayer flags, and I did not replace them. This past weekend, when I walked around Carytown with J, I picked up a new set, and hung them.
