karmicdragonflyI just got home from an orientation meeting for a local organization that helps refugees get settled. It could be a good experience for me -- I have volunteered in the past and found it rewarding.
And this will give me a reason to use that English as a Second Language certification that I got several years ago! There are a few more steps to take before I start with this organization, but it could be a good thing.

I'm doing really well with my weight loss lately...this morning, my weight was the lowest it has been in 30 years! I'm having a hard time keeping the carbs under control, but even the reduced level of carbs seems to be helping my weight loss!
