Robber fly -- omg, so ugly. So interesting!
I believe this is a Red Spotted Purple --
Alan the Raptor in the Fan --
I like poppies in general, and didn't realize they were associated with World War I because of the poem, In Flanders Fields. Local museum has steps that match their exhibit --
